But enough about them, let me tell you a bit about me and what I am looking for. I am looking for a fairytale. I want someone to laugh with me. I want a person, who despite lifeâ??s daily grind, will let it all melt away when she sees me. I want a person who will rely on me but also be strong enough to be self-sufficient. First thing is first, I'm not like your "typical" guy. Of course I am sarcastic, yes I like football but I don't keep track of who is where and on what team. I believe in the more we talk, the more we will grow. I was raised by a single mom with two sons, who came up from a trailor park in mundolein (some of you might know where that is). Money was always a problem, and with me, and my older brother not actually knowing our fathers (different dads, we knew of them, my older brother just knew his and he wasnt cool, I did not know mine till I was 18). I will warn you, I am really smart. Some women find that a turn off, I also have a particular taste. Im great for friends, but when it comes to romance, I do my best to surprise you, make you smile, hold your hand, but not all the time. I think that if you give everyone everything, you in turn lose everything you have. In the end we are all individuals who seek someone to share our lives with. That is love. But we all need to have some space as well (even living with others). I don't care what you say though, cheating is CHEATING. Friends are okay duh. K well, we already established that I am not your typical guy. I have a heart, and I have a brain. I have also had a goal since I was young and it developed into a full fledged dream of mine. My dream in life is this, I know that without art, I am not me. With out being creative, I am not me. I love creating monsters, action scenes, giving someone flowers in the way of a water painting. Art is my life. And my dream is to become a conceptual artist for video games. Sounds geeky? So what, I am who I am. lol And family will always come first over work, and if that means sacrificing family for work so family can have meals and I don't, so be it, but im not there yet, that is why I am here lol. Yes I love video games. And right now I had to sell my system so I can pay bills, cause no matter where I search, no jobs will hire (been to glen view, round lake, Geneva, island lake, McHenry, river wood, still nothing, even with a resume). I went to college, but I was unable to graduate cause I could no longer get approved for loans (family is having hard times in the economy right now). Some how I manage with a straight mind....other times I can't help but wish I could change everything with a wave of my hand. Sometimes life clips your wings, and you have to learn how to grow another pair. I do what I can.

This is me in a nutshell. I care about people, sometimes more than myself and I know I shouldn't. I was raised with a big heart. I'm 24, living in the far Northwest Burbs of Chicago. I enjoy living on my own. Right now I reside in an apt, but with the housing market the way it is, when the lease is up, that could easily change. I drive a Toyota Tacoma X-Runner 6-Speed Manual Transmission Pickup. I have a steady job working for a large telecommunications company. And in my free time I tend to follow sports (Big Bears & Cubs fan, and beginning to follow the Blackhawks). I am looking forward to the new Buffalo Wild Wings that is about to open on Highway 14/Northwest Highway here in Crystal Lake. Gotta have one of those in "stumbling" distance so to speak. I'm a big fan of sports talk radio. My radio dial is set to 670 AM during the day on weekdays, listening to Mully & Hanley, Hampton & Holmes, Mike Murphy, and Boers & Bernstein. The shows are great.

Nighttime and on the weekends, the radio dial is on 99.5 FM for some country music. I have become a country music fan. I like the songs, the artists, the tunes, and usually the back-stories, even though they are, shall we say, sensationalized a little bit by the Nashville Country Music Promoters. But Whatever.
